You’ll benefit from the combined resources and expertise of two universities. Harper Adams is the specialist university for food production, animal health and living environments. It offers exceptional resources, including an on-campus farm and Companion Animal House. Keele University has an impressive track record in health and life sciences and state-of-the-art teaching laboratories. Experience authentic work placements on your clinical rotations with HKVS's network of vet practice partners and other related businesses. These help you to build up your practical experience and develop a portfolio of professional clinical skills, supported by a team of veterinary professional preceptors.
Keele University sits in the Staffordshire countryside within easy reach of the lively town of Newcastle-under-Lyme and the vibrant city of Stoke-on-Trent. This location provides a tight-knit campus community with plenty to explore nearby. Harper Adams is in the Shropshire countryside. Its central learning and living zone is surrounded by the Future Farm and woodland, which provide a living laboratory for many courses, fresh air, and green space to support wellbeing. Both offer easy access to large cities, including Birmingham, Manchester, and Liverpool. Applicants indicate a preferred ‘host’ campus once they have received an offer; HKVS try to accommodate this, but it’s not guaranteed.
