The university offers guaranteed accommodation to students in their first year who live outside Edinburgh and apply by the deadline. There are over 2,000 modern single occupancy rooms on campus, with WiFi and energy bills included. Undergraduate students from England, Wales and Northern Ireland are eligible for free accommodation for the first semester to help with the costs of starting university.
