Imperial offers many options for financial support, including scholarships for different subject areas, nationalities and personal circumstances. The type of funding varies across departments and, unlike loans, students don’t have to pay bursaries and scholarships back. International students can apply for Imperial Inspires scholarships worth up to £15,000 per year, while Home-fee undergraduate students can access the Imperial Bursary. The Imperial Bursary provides up to £5,000 per year for each year that their course lasts. Students have to apply for a means-tested government loan like a maintenance loan to be considered, but don’t have to take out the loan to receive the Imperial Bursary.
