How is this affected by coronavirus?Kingston University has a range of options for students who need access to laptops or Wi-Fi bursaries. All students are supported by IT and library services with any queries they may have about online learning. An online library catalogue is available. *These provisions may change.
- Information centres in each library respond to a range of enquiries from students about all aspects of student life.
- The new Town House building at Penrhyn Road has a large library and resources over several floors, with different study spaces.
- Resources include 295,000 books and audiovisuals, 260,000 e-books, 79,000 print and online journals, 1,800 PCs and 250 laptops.
- Special collections include the Iris Murdoch Archives, Sheridan Morley Theatre Collection and Stephen Sondheim Society Archive.

Town House building at Penrhyn Road
The flagship Town House building has a three-floor library, cafés and green terraces, outdoor reading garden, plus a covered courtyard for student gatherings and events. Flexible technology throughout supports inventive studying and collaborative group work.
Financial advice and budgeting
Kingston University's student life advisory team can help with budgeting, dealing with debt, and applications for additional funding, such as applying for bursaries and scholarships.
Faith and spirituality
The team works in partnership with local faith communities to provide spiritual care and support. There is a faith and spirituality centre at the Penrhyn Road campus and a revamped facility at Kingston Hill campus. Roehampton Vale campus has a prayer space.
Recreational and sporting activities are available, in line with Covid guidance. Facilities available include the fitness centre (Penrhyn Road), sports ground (Tolworth Court), tennis courts (Kingston Hill) and more.
The fitness centre has been adapted for social distancing, with reduced capacity. Members use a booking app to reserve a one-hour gym session. Tolworth Court sports ground is available for sports club use. The Pavilion has also been modified to meet Covid requirements.
