Lancaster University offers a range of modern and comfortable accommodation in the colleges on campus. Students live within a supportive community, making it easy to meet friends and get to classes. The colleges have dedicated support staff and 24-hour security. Choose from en-suite accommodation, rooms in flats or houses with shared bathroom facilities, or self-contained studios. All accommodation has free Wi-Fi, kitchen and dining facilities, and communal areas. Adapted accommodation is available for disabled students, and there are family flats for students with small children. Most accommodation is self-catered, but some colleges offer catered packages.

Lancaster University is in the north-west of England, just 3 miles from the city centre of Lancaster. The student-friendly city is home to a diverse population and a historic charm. There are bars, cafes and restaurants to suit every taste, as well as an array of shops. It has a vibrant arts and culture scene, with events happening year-round and a buzzing nightlife. The university is also well connected to a variety of popular hotspots, including urban cities, stunning countryside, and expansive coastline. By train, Lancaster is 30 minutes from the Lake District, just over 1 hour from Manchester, 2 hours from Liverpool, and 2.5 hours from London, Glasgow or Edinburgh.
