Student advice services
A wide range of frontline student support is available. This includes a Student Advice Hub service at three separate locations across the two campuses. The service can assist with general day-to-day queries, and signpost support.
The Student Money team administers a substantial Hardship Fund to support students experiencing financial barriers and, since March 2020, a Digital Access Fund to support students who don’t have access to an adequate IT device.
Faith spaces are found at both City and Headingley campuses. The Faith and Belief Forum is a network open to students and staff, whether they have faith or no religious beliefs. Chaplains provide a confidential listening ear to students.
Reduced capacities have been introduced for all activities, with some equipment relocated to other areas. In semester 1 the swimming pool remained closed, as did the gym at City Campus (due to reduced attendance on campus).
Sports activities are operating following Covid guidelines.
