All students research employment opportunities in their chosen field and create a career plan that matches their ambitions. They then take on relevant professional practice to support these goals.
Students learn to evaluate an employer's needs as they create an application. They also learn to verbally present their portfolio or work in a way that demonstrates the breadth, depth and quality of their skills.
Mock interviews and auditions are staged, some with panels featuring industry practitioners. Students can take part in role-play as both interviewer and interviewee to understand the process from both perspectives.
Students learn critical business and interpersonal skills to support working freelance or set up their own projects, productions and companies and create their own work.
