LJMU guarantees all new students a place in high-quality student accommodation in the heart of Liverpool city centre. There's a wide range of places to choose from. Your student accommodation will consist of an individual study bedroom within a shared flat, where you will eat, sleep and study alongside other new LJMU students. Most bedrooms also have private en-suite bathrooms. The university also offers 365-day accommodation for care leavers. The welfare of all students is paramount, and LJMU works closely with halls staff to support you when needed. There's also a range of events and activities to help students settle in and learn valuable life skills.
Liverpool John Moores University offers a variety of scholarships. These aim to recognise achievement and help students reach their potential, regardless of their background or circumstances. It also provides the LJMU Student Support Fund, which offers financial help to students experiencing hardship or struggling to cover essential living costs. Also, students can take advantage of £40-a-year LJMU gym memberships at the 25/26 academic rate, and access to emergency food vouchers when needed.
