Queen Margaret University is on the east side of Edinburgh, next to the bustling seaside town of Musselburgh. With Musselburgh train station immediately next to the university, it takes just 6 minutes on the train to reach Edinburgh city centre. Excellent transport links include a regular bus service from campus to the local retail park, Musselburgh and the city centre. Running alongside the campus, the A1 provides quick access to the north of Edinburgh and to the west of the country, or south to the Scottish Borders and England. QMU's excellent location means that students can easily access the amenities of Scotland's capital, as well as the stunning East Lothian coast and countryside.
