The careers and employability team aims to help students become confident and able to effectively market their knowledge, skills and experience to potential employers. The team operates a careers for life service.
An online tool allows students to explore part-time and graduate work, as well as work experience and volunteering opportunities.
Seminars and workshops
The Careers and Employability Service runs a programme of seminars and workshops each semester, open to all students. These cover topics such as CV writing, preparing for interviews and how to find a job.
An employer mentoring programme offers third- and fourth-year students the opportunity to be mentored by an experienced professional with relevant industry experience.
Meeting an adviser
The careers advisers offer weekly drop-ins and appointments (bookable online) for existing students and recent graduates.
