Each of Queen Mary's academic schools is supported by a careers consultant who works closely with staff and students to provide a careers support programme relevant to students’ interests and disciplines.
One-to-one careers advice
As well as providing over 6,000 one-to-one careers appointments each year, careers consultants promote an exciting range of opportunities from the Queen Mary Careers and Enterprise Hub.
In 2017–18, the Hub generated 1,335 opportunities for work-based experience and posted vacancies from 3,519 employers.
Meet potential employers
Queen Mary organises a range of employer events, from recruitment fairs to alumni networking breakfasts. In 2017–18, it ran more than 100.
UK and overseas job boards
Students can search over 16 million jobs from across the world through Queen Mary’s Going Global portal, as well as over 1,300 jobs in London and the UK on the university’s own jobs board, JobOnline.
