The award-winning McClay Library is open until 2am during term time, with 24-hour opening the exam period.
The library provides access to over 1.5 million volumes and houses the university’s special collections and archives.
The McClay Library provides access to over 2,000 study spaces, as well as 33 group study rooms.
The virtual learning environment (VLE) allows students to access information, materials and activities related to their course.
Temporary, well-ventilated indoor spaces such as marquees have been used to provide additional social and studying spaces that allow for social distancing.

Financial advice and debt support
Based in the Students’ Union, Advice SU provides free independent and confidential advice for Queen’s students on a wide range of issues including financial matters.
A range of childcare support provides full-time day care, out-of-school care and a summer activities scheme. Three different buildings are on site – two dedicated to crèche facilities and one assigned to the Out of School Club.
