Expert career guidance
One-to-one appointments with careers consultants are delivered face-to-face or by remote access. Career programmes include workplace study tours, workshops, employer presentations and networking activity.
Queen's is committed to connecting employers to their future workforce. Queen's has strong relationships with Northern Ireland's top graduate recruiters as well as a wide range of smaller and micro businesses.
Graduate, placement and specialist careers fairs all host a careers zone where students can receive one-to-one guidance, signposting, and employability development resources.
Careers education and guidance is also provided on degree programmes, through consultants' tailored delivery of workshops, presentations, newsletters and collaborative activity with academic colleagues.
Student development weeks
These allow students to participate in taster sessions, guidance workshops or longer more intensive, experiential activities such as leadership courses, field trips, workplace study tours and work shadowing.
