• Cirencester has plenty of clubs, bars, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Popular haunts include The Bell pub, and student nights at Seventeen Black and ReVa.
• Speciality shops are found in Black Jack Street, Market Place, Brewery Arts Gallery and Corn Hall indoor market. Cheltenham, Swindon and Bicester Village are all nearby.
• The university is passionate about its sporting activities. Sporting entertainment includes the Cheltenham Festival, Badminton Horse Trials and Gloucester and Bath rugby.
• Cotswold Water Park is a 15-minute drive from the RAU. It offers kayaking, canoeing, sailing and rowing across 150 lakes, and is a beautiful setting for walks and cycling.

• From the campus it's a 1-mile walk to the local pubs, bars and shops of Cirencester town, known as the Capital of the Cotswolds.
• Cirencester has bus links with Cheltenham, Swindon and Stroud, and a National Express station a short taxi ride away from campus.
• Kemble railway station is just 3 miles from campus with regular services to London – only 75 minutes by direct train.
• The university is a 1-hour drive from Bristol and Birmingham airports and a 2-hour drive from Heathrow and Luton airports.
