Thousands of books, journals and articles are available digitally, meaning they can be accessed and read from anywhere.
Libraries are open 365 days a year. The Thompson Library in Stoke and Shrewsbury Health Library are open 24/7.
Libraries feature a variety of study spaces including collaborative spaces for group and social working, quiet and silent areas.
Libraries feature PCs, large-screen group study desks plus access to specialist software and laptop loan.

Supporting students

The university has in place a comprehensive range of services designed to provide expert care and support for students. The Student Hub is the first port of call and staff resolve queries and/or connect students with the most appropriate services.

Money support

The university and SU work closely to ensure that concerns about money are addressed. The university provides a range of bursaries, hardship funds and emergency loans. This is complemented by expert money/debt guidance from the SU's advice team.

Childcare/family services

The university is proud of its Ofsted ‘outstanding’ rated nursery which provides a safe, caring space for children of students and staff. A range of child/family friendly services and facilities across campus includes a children's library.
