Libraries are open 365 days a year. The Thompson Library in Stoke and Shrewsbury Health Library usually open 24/7.
Libraries feature a variety of study spaces including collaborative spaces for group and social working, quiet and silent areas.

The university has a full range of services to provide advice, information, and expert wellbeing and mental health support for students. Services can be accessed directly via online booking and delivered online or face-to-face.
Student support and experience
The university and SU work closely to ensure that student experiences and concerns are addressed from Welcome through to graduation. The university provides a range of bursaries, success funds and emergency loans, complemented by expert debt/money advice.
An Ofsted 'outstanding' rated nursery provides a safe, caring space for children of students. A new forest school and nursery will increase capacity. Other family-friendly facilities across campus include a children's library.
