A specialist institution for agri-food production, Harper Adams University moves down in the league tables in 2019: after a steep climb of 43 places since 2014 it now sits at 48th overall and fifth in the West Midlands. It still tops the UK league for Facilities Spend – which tripled between 2016–2018 – and it maintains the highest Student Satisfaction of the region. 

Located in rural Shropshire, the Students' Union ensures there is never a dull moment, with a vast range of clubs and societies, weekly themed club nights, event weekends and four balls a year. The university also has a good range of sports facilities that includes a heated outdoor swimming pool.
