1. Loughborough University
Loughborough University has made the top ten in the UK University League Table for four years in a row now, as well as leading the rankings in the East Midlands. In fact, this university is no stranger to top ten accolades, making the grade for Student Satisfaction, Graduate Prospects, Student-Staff Ratio (outwith Russell Group institutions) and for Facilities Spend. This last measure goes some way to explaining the excellent sports provision for students, as this university has a strong sporting reputation to maintain – regularly heading the British Universities & Colleges Sport league table.
Based on a single-site campus, students have easy access not just to the busy market town of Loughborough but also to nearby cities of Nottingham, Leicester and Derby, along with the beautiful Peak District.
