4. University of Lincoln
The University of Lincoln is still among the top five East Midlands universities, maintaining its good performance. Last year this institution climbed seven places in the University League Table; this year its Graduate Prospects are still rising, as are the numbers of graduates gaining a Good Honours of a 2:1 or higher. The university has particular strengths in Agriculture & Forestry and Hospitality, Leisure, Recreation & Tourism.
Lincoln itself has a 2,000 year history with a majestic cathedral, castle, and bishops' palace; recent regenerations have brought modern precincts and new entertainment areas to the city.
