Royal Holloway, University of London enters the top five for universities in the South East after an absence of three years. With a jump in the number of graduates leaving with a Good Honours, as well as an increase in Graduate Prospects, the university has climbed seven places in the main league table to reach joint 28th.
Based on a beautiful 135-acre campus, students have all they need on the doorstep, including a health centre and sports facilities – and the Surrey town of Egham is a short walk away, with a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The campus also boasts a golden post box, testament to the achievements of maths graduate Sophie Christiansen. She won three Paralympic Gold medals in the 2012 Olympics; her total is now eight Golds, one Silver and one Bronze from four Paralympics.
