A specialised module provides an induction to successful online study. The Student Learning Advisory Service (SLAS) provides live ongoing guidance on managing and engaging with online learning, assignments and assessments. *These provisions may change.

Inclusive learning plans and adapted exam arrangements for disabled students.
Individual appointments cover all areas of study skills and strategies for successful engagement and learning (all year round).
Online Bitesize Skills Development webinar series on a range of topics, strategies and questions (daily, September–April).

Health Services

SELF ISOLATING SUPPORT

The Canterbury campus has an on-site medical centre, nursing service and pharmacy.
Medway students living at Pier Quays can register with the DMC Sunlight Surgery.
Students are advised to register with a dental practice close to their accommodation.
During term time, Medway students have access to a weekly medical room on campus.
All first-year undergraduate students and students with accommodation booked via the university get free sports membership.

Range of support includes mentoring, note takers, materials in alternative formats, and assistive technology.
Disabled students are able to apply for a parking permit for use at both campuses. Accessible rooms are available.

Emergency funding may be available to eligible students. *These provisions may change.

The University of Kent has a generous range of scholarships, rewarding excellence in academia, sport and music. Students can use a student support calculator on the university website to get an estimate of the amount of funding available.

An Academic Excellence scholarship is for applicants who achieve AAA at A Level (or specified equivalents).
A bursary (Kent's Financial Support Package) may be available for full-time students from England who meet a range of additional criteria.
