The careers team offers a range of support and opportunities, from CV building, mock interviews and one-to-one appointments, to networking events, workshops and an online portal where students can browse current industry opportunities. With lifetime access, this is available to Leicester's students even after they graduate!
The University of Leicester offers accommodation from as little as £69 per week – including utility bills, insurance and Wi-Fi. It guarantees university-managed accommodation for all first-year undergraduates and postgraduates who apply before 1 September in the year they start their course. Rooms come with a bed, desk, chair and wardrobe, and are self-catered. Each accommodation site has a nearby sports centre, 24-hour reception and security, and residential adviser teams that host regular socials. Accommodation at The City site is a 10-minute walk from central campus, while The Village is a 15-minute trip on the university's free shuttle bus, which also stops at the Brookfield campus.
