The university's wellbeing advisers provide a drop-in service helping with a wide range of issues. They can signpost students to one of the university's specialist services if necessary.
The university is a multifaith campus with a number of chaplains and associates to provide pastoral and faith support. Four official chaplains represent Anglican, Catholic, Jewish and Muslim faiths, and can put students in touch with other faith groups.
The money advice and guidance team offer a confidential service providing advice on entitlement to loans or welfare benefits and help with budgeting and debt management. They also administer the university's Hardship Fund.
