Faculty librarians provide specialist advice on each subject via classroom teaching, online and face-to-face help.
IT facilities at the university include over 4,500 PCs, laptops and Macs across the campus for student use.
All students have free access to the fast wireless network, including in halls of residence. Support is available 24/7 all year.

Get information and advice on all aspects of money management while studying. This includes supporting applications for government student loans, and practical support in the form of a generous university Support Fund and same day emergency loans.
Time to reflect
Whatever a student’s world view, the chaplaincy is a safe, supportive space for those of all faiths and none. Pop in any time for tea and a chat, access support from chaplains via phone or video call, or visit the quiet room for silent reflection.
The university’s on-site nursery offers high quality childcare for students with children aged six months to five years. Places are limited, so be sure to contact the university in good time to discuss.
