Student support centres

Five support centres on campus provide help with academic issues, money, wellbeing, and more. The university also has dedicated teams for student financial support, international advice, and student welfare.

Faith and cultural services

Reading’s chaplaincy centre welcomes people of all beliefs and offers a signposting service for all faiths. There is also a Muslim prayer centre on campus, and atheist/humanist/secularist, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Sikh societies.

Childcare services

The Little Learners day nursery on Whiteknights campus is for the children of university students and staff. It offers places for children aged three months to five years. The Little Owl pre-school has places for children aged two-and-a-half to five years.

University sports are open to everyone. There are many sports and exercise opportunities for you to get involved in, regardless of your ability, commitment level or past experience.
