Sheffield’s Careers and Employability Service offers tailored support and experiences to students and graduates. You will benefit from support and guidance in finding and securing work experience opportunities, including year-long placements as part of undergraduate degrees, part-time jobs, internships, virtual work experience and graduate jobs. You can access career support after graduation for as long as you need. You could study or work abroad, do international research, attend a summer school at one of Sheffield’s partner universities, or learn a language. Undergraduate students can get help to continue into postgraduate study, and postgraduates are supported into PhD studies.

University of Sheffield accommodation includes a mix of rooms with shared kitchens and studios with their own kitchen area. You could live in purpose-built modern halls or shared student houses or even choose catered accommodation. Several adapted rooms are available for disabled students.
