Career-relevant courses
USW’s partnerships and industry links mean that what students learn on their course is informed by practice and reflects real life.
Careers support
USW Careers can help students find opportunities and consider their career options. It also offers practical help with job applications and interview techniques.
Network75
The Network75 scheme is like a degree apprenticeship, combining work and study to improve students’ employability. Subjects covered are engineering, surveying, computing, business, accounting, law and chemistry.
Highlighting industry opportunities
Themed careers weeks highlight opportunities within sectors such as the NHS or the environment, or focus on how skills such as Welsh language can enhance career development.
Skills-focused webinars
USW provides a range of webinars throughout the year that cover important skills such as networking, developing online profiles on LinkedIn or simply navigating the application and interview process.
