The Careers and Employability Centre offers expert careers guidance (one-to-one, online, via phone or Skype) for all current students and for up to three years after graduation.
Careers support is provided through skills building events and webinars including CV writing, interview preparation, assessment centres and networking.
Careers in the curriculum
Careers are also covered in the curriculum; many courses incorporate career-related content and each school of study has a dedicated careers and employability consultant.
Careers fairs and events
Over 400 events are held each year, including careers fairs, skills workshops and employer presentations which engage employers for skills development and recruitment opportunities.
Online jobs database
The online database, CareerHub, includes all types of vacancies from placements, internships and volunteering to graduate roles. There is also a comprehensive careers website providing job and careers information.
