The Money Advice Service provides information about fees, loans and living costs, and additional sources of income, budgeting etc. It administers non-repayable grants from the university’s Access to Learning Fund for eligible students experiencing hardship.
Faith support and provision
Designated multifaith rooms are available for prayer and quiet reflection. Students are put in touch with a range of local churches and faith groups, and the associate chaplain is regularly on campus to meet with students. Events take place all year.
The university provides an on-site nursery – Unitots – which is available to students, staff and the local community. The nursery has been assessed as being Outstanding by Ofsted in the last two inspections.
